Waking up at Home :)

Next Monday morning, i will be waking up with my dog licking my face, waking up to my mom yelling 'Nidddhiiiiiiiii, wakeeee uppp NOWWW, waking up to my dad sipping on tea & playing sudoku, waking up to the smell of delicious panyaram and chutney, waking up to the sound of honking cars and screeching bikes, waking up to the neighbours kids crying, waking up feeling at HOME :)

*sigh*

Just when im going home..

Mom tells me "beta, im excited im going to see you in 2 weeks" and i feel the pinch. I have dreamed of being with her, but im not excited, yet. Is that normal? Ive got my friends calling me to tell me they cant wait, and that they wished 2 weeks went faster, i still feel the pinch. I still dont feel the same. Im going to meet my doggie , who has missed me more than anybody could possibly have, ive missed her more than ive missed anybody, but im still not excited. And it makes me guilty.

Maybe two weeks seems too far away for the excitement to begin.


ps : update: 8 hours later - im getting the chills - NOW im excited :D

The Woman in my Life

Ever wondered , what it would be like, to enter this world , not knowing a woman like your mother ? 

She is my inspiration, she is my mental support, she is my stamina, she is idol, she is my best friend , she is my wallet :P , she is the best cook ever, she is the reason for who i am, she is what i call love, she is my teacher , she is my weakness , she is what i call 'home', she is beautiful ,inside-out, she is My MOM.

My first game of -FOOTY

They say if you've seen a footy match, and not felt the chills , you're not human.
Well I could not agree better. Watching the finals of the AFL season for the first time - this is officially my favourite sport to watch - for three reasons.
1. Oh! the men 2. Oh! the men 3. Oh! the men ... and yes of course I think the game is fabulous , oh and did I mention the oh so HOT men ?  :p
